FRIDA LAS VEGAS X 'RADICAL TEXTILES' @ ART GALLERY OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA

It is an absolute honour to be included in the Radical Textiles exhibition at the Art Gallery of South Australia, presenting works by more than 150 artists, designers and activists to explore how textiles have marked acts of resistance, revival, remembrance and reconciliation over the past 150 years.

My ‘SA Great’ Glamour Kaftan is on display in the exhibition (with a custom turban and shoes to match, naturellement) and has also been included in the exhibition catalogue alongside an essay written by curator, writer, historian and teacher Dr Sally Grey about the themes of my work.

Radical Textiles is on display at the Art Gallery of South Australia from November 23rd 2024 - March 30 2025.
